Tip:  On occasion, I have trouble with the threads breaking when quilting a heavily pieced quilt top.  I have found that if I reposition the last thread guide (turn it 180 degrees, so it is pointing to the left, not the right)  it seems to help.  I am referring to the thread guide just before the needle.  I removed the guide and used a pliers to modify the curve (the part that fits next to the longarm)  and replaced it.  This guides the thread to enter the eye of the needle from the top, not the side.
